How it works - Description
This system trains dogs not to bark by sending out a high frequency sound whenever it barks.
Dogs do not like this sound and will learn that when they bark this sound is played. Within a few days they are trained not to bark.
You can adjust the microphone sensitivity and the frequency of the sound. Above 18000 Hertz the sound becomes unhearable for humans but dogs can hear sounds up to 30.000 Hertz.
How high sounds you can play is dependent on your speakers but most speakers can handle up to 20.000 Hertz and external tweeter speakers can go up to 26000 Hz.
You can use a computer or smartphone to run the app on this site.
If the speakers of your phone or computer are not powerful enough to reach the dog you can connect external speakers to your device so you can control any dog at any distance.
Your computer or phone has to be placed in such a way that the sound can reach the neighbours dog without walls or windows in between. The sound can travel through small bushes and
fences.
The microphone of your phone or computer has to be able to pick up the barking dog sound. You can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone.
We recommend to conceal the device for the neighbour not to see it. In case the phone or computer does get detected you can say that as long as you do not train your dog I am doing it
for you by training him with an automatic dog whistle.
